Terms of Service

By using SpotApply ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

SpotApply is an AI-powered job search automation tool. It discovers job listings from public job boards and ATS platforms, scores them against your resume, and auto-fills application forms on your behalf — subject to your explicit approval before any submission.

2. Your responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and resume data.
• You must review every application before approving submission. SpotApply submits nothing without your explicit approval.
• You agree not to misuse the Service to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent applications.

3. Third-party platforms

SpotApply reads job listings from public applicant-tracking boards and feeds (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, SmartRecruiters, Workable and similar), public job-board APIs, and licensed aggregators. We do not scrape LinkedIn or Indeed and we never sign in to any job platform on your behalf. Listings that originate on those sites reach us through a licensed aggregator or a public feed and are shown to you as links you open yourself.

Auto-fill types your answers into an application form that you have opened, in your own browser session, and stops there — you review and click Submit. You remain the applicant and are responsible for what you submit, including the accuracy of every tailored document.

• You are responsible for complying with the terms of each employer or platform you apply through.
• SpotApply does not guarantee that any application will be accepted, read, or answered.

4. No employment guarantee

SpotApply automates the application process but makes no guarantee of job offers, interviews, or responses from employers. Results depend on your profile, the job market, and employer decisions outside our control.

5. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your resume, profile data, and any documents you upload. By using the Service, you grant SpotApply a limited license to process and store your data solely to provide the Service.

6. Service availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or unexpected failures may cause temporary downtime.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpotApply and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed job opportunities, third-party platform actions, or data loss.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email.
